Where does yours start to break up? 1st and 2nd gen. Master on 5, brite/normal on 4, and it sounds like there's an overdrive in front of it. Is that normal? I've played others, just never at any type of volume. Insight, plxxxxx.

All relative to those brite/normal settings. I've got my brite-5 normal-7.5 so I start to get breakup on the master around 3-4. Mind you its more of a grit or grind rather than full-on overdrive. Sounds normal to me.

This was the main factor that made me decide to trade off mine. It takes high volumes to get this beast to break up and since my style of playing changed to a a more mid rangey sound, it just didn't work anymore for me. It is a superb amp to a/b with JCM 800 or the like to run your effects through....
