Those are only a bad deal for those that don't have a sailboat they never use lying around somewhere.

Seriously, how many people do you know that have a sailboat they're not using lying around that they wish they could trade for a host of old tube amps?

I think that would be a stupid trade, but then again, I'm biased as I like being on the water.

Yep. He's still a douche, though. He either mustn't want to sell them, or he really wants a sailboat.  Either way, huge waste of good amp, I think.

I know people that jack up the price of their gear, and expect to knock at least a quarter to a third off, sometimes more, to satisfy people who need to think they are getting a deal.

When I sell gear I do it for the price I want, offer me less, I ignore you, it's easier.
