Bolt... This might be a cool show, seeing as how you named yourself after a sic ass Death Metal band. There's a stop in Hollywood on this tour.

The first few Kataklysm albums were very underrated. But they always seemed to be chasing the shadows of fellow canucks Cryptopsy for acclaim & always falling short. Yet live, I saw them give Immolation a run for their money around '94-ish or so. Too bad that same band doesn't exist.

The band only has one missing original member, Sylvain Houde. Drummers make out most of the band's former members.

No. I work for the people who put these shows on. I was hired to do advertising. And I do very well at it! Crowbar has an average of 276 ticket sales per show according to Pollstar. Our Alrosa Villa show pulled in over 450. A lot of that is because of how I do my job. My band doesn't play most of the shows my boss puts on. I just works for them. My bad only plays shows that we can match up for and only if my boss graces me with an offer that I never refuse. Since Dark War has a wide arrangement of music in our sets we can fit into a wide array of shows. But this show is Death and Doom Metal and I can only do Death metal in small blasts. If I do to much Death vox then I take a chance on fucking up other clearer notes that I have to switch to because some of what I do goes from really heavy to really soft at the turn of a single syllable. Singers must stay within their means or they wont be singing for more than ten years. So no, we aren't playing this show. But I also work as security and a stage loader as well. I was the guy at the Villa Crowbar show keeping people from going up the stairs leading into the stage right VIP section. The same exact stairs that the prick that killed Dime walked up on his way to kill 4 people.

I also do my own local shows with great local bands from all over the state. Most closer to Columbus than some. Here's a Slitherbang Music show for March. I put this show together from date confirmation, to bands, to making it a completely free show! That means no one has to pay to get in. The bar and I have a great deal set up. I pull in 100 people for the shows I put on and I make a nice chunk of cash. So do the last two bands that play my shows. I also usually pay each band $20 per show out of pocket just in case nothing is made. Then no one goes home empty at least. I have two shows set up for Slitherbang and I have two shows I'm doing advertising for that aren't mine. I also made the flyer to.

Oh I see. They pay you to advertise for them. It's a bummer that you agreed not to do that when you signed up.

First time I saw Kataklysm, they bored me to death. The second time, too. Abysmal Dawn is good live, so id DB... the rest of the bands blow.

Two good bands out of 5 is still a good show most of the time. A good time at least drinking and having fun while you're waiting to hear the music you can tolerate. Some people go to shows when they don't like any of the bands. I think they just want attention. You know. Concert trolls...
