I was interning in Atlanta at the time when they recorded their cover of 'The Bit' by the Melvins. The one thing I remember most was Troy switching on that Wren and Cuff Russian Fuzz and 'that sound' was just immediate and totally jawdropping. Just a DI box and that pedal into the board. Amazing tone.
