it has a mix of FET, JFET, and BJT stages. If a customer wanted the BJT stages to be Ge, it could be done

Mooscillator gutshot as promised:

moose23

Custom DOBKSY FUZZ UNIT for guitar. One footswitch switches the second set of clipping diodes form Si to Red 3mm LED for a nice lead/solo boost. Toggle switch is tone Bypass. Should be all finished and shipped this afternoon.

Modded and dressed BYOC Mighty Mouse.

Modded/tweaked DOD250, somewhere between grey and yellow specs with a bit more bass.

bitter

Moose, what's the story on that modded mouse?
Oh Andy I'm gonna go over to mount pilot and worship Satan

moose23

Not much, I switched a few components for white face specs, added a bass boost switch (kinda based on the Reutz mod) and one of the clipping options is now germanium ala You Dirty Rat. Then painted it and put the oldschool knobs on. Would be easier to do it all from scratch but gotta do what the client wants.

The Shocker

Beautiful!  How much are you selling those for?

not quite sure yet, this is #001, maybe 160-200 something in that range

Sack the white washer from the footswitch, it cheapens the whole deal. Proper gutshot too please.

its not wired, the above gut is current. I just applied some power to LED for fun. Wont bother with the washer swap we had this discussion in doom room yesterday between Darren (Black Hand Analog) and myself. This is just a proto so its not a big deal

If it sounds as good as it looks, you should have no problem selling them.  Absolutely immaculate.

Wizard is looking sweet.  Love that graphic, love the LED in the staff.  Love those knobs, too.  Did I miss a discussion of what type (broadly) of fuzz it's going for?

Essentially im cooking up a bunch of different things, some gain stages from a muff, some FET and JFET boosters along with a follower driven baxandall stack and 12 pos FAC control. Essentially taking my wizard amp and trying to do a pedal version of it.

the knobs are pretty killer, machined aluminum they have a nice feel, like an older radio with solid metal knobs

Where's my demo, NICK?
