Can't afford to go anywhere, but I played my acoustic, dobro, lap steel & electric for like 6 hours yesterday.

More woodshedding today, and then tomorrow I pay a visit to this place: http://www.rumbleseatmusicsouthwest.com/

Can't afford to buy any of 'em, but I hear the dude is really cool about letting folks come in & play 'em.

sounds like my idea of a vacation! except mine would also include lots of beer and junk food.

there are people trapped in the ratrace who would kill to get to do that. especially the "relaxed" part.

i cant play for 6 hrs in one day.  that would rule, maybe i better get crackin' then.

I'm trying to learn some chet atkins style rhythm section+melody finger pickin and my hands are smokin from the strange positioning and picking sequences with no muscle memory. lucky if i can keep that up for an hour 8(

Damn. Played a '61 Les Paul Jr. (SG) today, plus a 1934 Rickenbacker lap steel, as well as some other vintage guitars.

Time for a nap.
