Powered pedalboard question.

Just got a new pedalboard:



As you can see it has two 12v taps. Not sure what pedals sound good with those. Kind of scared to just plug in any pedals willy nilly into the 12v taps. Any advice?

Unless you are 100 percent sure don't do it.  some effects can handle up to 18volts some can not handle more than 9 you just need to do your research on each pedal.

I have one pedal that takes 12 volts - it has a tube in it. It came with it's own 12 volt power supply, so there was no chance for confusion.

12VDC is for old made in Japan Boss pedals.

Most drive pedals work great at 12V (and even 18V depending on the opamp). I've tried with a couple of my pedals, there's not a huge change in sound but it will give you more dynamics/less compression.

The pedalboard instructions said the 12v taps are good for 9v AC pedals, thing is I'm pretty sure I don't have any of those.
