I'm toying with the idea of selling or trading my Ashdown. I got it several years back, because that's what Adam in Ramesses uses, and he was nice enough to answer my questions in email and stuff. This thing delivers terrifying amounts of bass at similar volume levels to my other preamp, it was making the sub look like the driver wanted to leap out the cabinet, and that was before I engaged the Sub Harmonics. This one has never been on tour with me, always sat in the studio rack.

So if you like to leave your audience with brown stains on their trousers, and you have a power amp of some description, this may be the preamp you want. If you want to hear what it sounds like, listen to the first couple of Ramesses EP's. Or any of them really, he hasn't changed his rig, just his pedals.
