Baby steps, baby steps. Ramon's interested, have leads for 3-4 jam spaces, including one Ramon has an in to. Re-learning all the old tunes. Reassembling a playable drumkit.

Baby steps, but it's really happening! ;D

First Sandia Man rehearsal in 3+ years last night. If we didn't sound exactly like the old days, neither did we sound like 3 guys who hadn't so much as been in the same room together for 3+years! Rust here and there , a few "misremembered" parts, but the magic still happens, and there's lots of music yet to be made.

Stoked! ;D

Yeah, I'm totally stoked!

That last little freeform jam was the icing on the rock cake.

Wish we'd recorded it—next time I'll bring the Tascam & we'll start leaving it running at every practice.

That's awesome!

That is awesome, congrats duders!!

Working on new material with Palace.  We've got two recordings we're simultaneously writing for, a split 12" that the details are forthcoming for, and a new full length album.  The split so far is more old school sounding Hawkwind/Monster Magnet type stuff.  The full length is....something else entirely....
The fact that I kept setting my own boats on fire was considered charming.

nice Alan and Jon! Glad to hear

I think I am in a new band now. Went and jammed some Music MAchine tunes with some other established guys I know on sunday. They got all excited and started talking about names, so I guess it's a thing now. I am the youngest guy in this group of dudes and we're all friends, so it's pretty cool.

My soundscape thing is still going. Got a gig next month and have been getting tons of listens on our soundcloud stuff. Mainly one track that seems be be popular with online gamers. I check the stats and it's all the netherlands and wisconsin via some d&d shit or some kind of app that connects with soundcloud for tabletop rpg something or other. Like 300 plays in one day, several days in a row from that. Interesting world we live in.

I'm in the process of booking some shows for the band. First one up is with Destruction Unit, pretty cool!

We'll be doing a short set opening Gordyfest 2015 in Albuquerque.  ;D

If you're drawing a blank, look in GD. It's all there.

holy shit, can't believe this thing is still going on. I swung in to give my condolences in the GD forum about potbelly and saw this!

So: my band is just getting back to where we need to be as a 3 piece: https://www.facebook.com/Redlegmusic?fref=ts

recording before the end of the year, probably 4 or 5 songs. yeah. fuck.

Starting gigging soon, got about an album of ready material and another one not so ready. Currently practicing our live set. Eventhough the scene is small here, there's some awesome people and bands around.
