Probably the best album to never see the, official, light of day.

Amazing stuff IMO.... the single best post-Kyuss output.
Killing threads is my business and business is good.

astroman

might agree with the first statement.

second statement is FALSE

The Shocker

I think some of the Raging Slab unreleased albums(!) are pretty damn good too.

sleestak

I was referring to projects with members of the kyuss players.... guess I was a little vague.

The Shocker

Well you did say best album not to see the light of day and Raging Slab does have 2 or 3...

It IS a great album though.

understood, just don't agree. would have at one point but after several years of listening to it it hasn't held up quite as well as say Jalamanta for me. absolutely a sick album though. listened to it this afternoon

The Shocker

My vote would be for the first Queens of the Stoneage album.

I go between the UNIDA unreleased album and QOTSA s/t.  Both are in my top ten STONER ROCK albums.

                ........Unida

my favorite unida song:)

i'll raise you this little nugget to...................

CanookieWookie

Can't go wrong with either song there  :)

Sleazy Cortez

fuck yeah UNIDA!
i don't like that song Slaylina or whatever. But overall, fucking killer. Coping With the Urban Coyote is their most perfect release, though, of the three records. I think.

Jalamanta.
QOTSA.
Rated R.
Che - Sounds of Liberation
Keep Your Cool

lots of good ones!
they call em fingers.... but i never seen em fing.

Desertblues

Johns voice has been getting better and better but if I had to rate the post Kyuss releases I'd go for;

Brant Bjork - Jalamanta
Slo Burn - Amusing the Amazing/Demos
Qotsa - S/T
Che - Sounds of Liberation
Unida - Coping with the Urban Coyote

sleestak

Yeah, how's that for weird?  John's voice progressively gets better...

Agree with all of these, but I'd have to add Brant Bjork and the Bros - Somera Sol.  Love that album.

What is this release?  I've never heard of it.

Upon them all, we shall trample.
They shall read the five-fold markings of our hands,
And realize their own footsteps in the sand."

Hey dude welcome to the board.  Where ya from? You must be new to the scene to have missed out on the unreleased unida album.

Thank you.  I'm from the desert.  I thought The Great Division was the unreleased album?  I thought I had that somewhere. I've heard it before.  I'm thoroughly confused now.

While on the topic, anyone have a lossless (silver cd copy) of the 15 track version of this.  I have a flac copy of the 11 track version but would like a high quality version of the additional tracks.
